Unhappy horse
Here is connie at day number 2 at Clover Valley Vet clinic.The dog bite she got on her face on feb 14 14 hasn't been responding as well as it should be to treatment.So she is at the "horse" hospital for a week or so.When i saw her today she was feeling very sorry for herself.With good reason!

oh, that looks so very sad!!! how did this happen????
we think she put her head over the fence to sniff at a dog,unfortunately it bit her instead of moving away like a normal dog would.our yard is fenced and very private so we know it wasn't a stray coming onto the property,it had to be one of our boarders dogs.the infection has settled around the root of a tooth so it heals on the outside but not the inside.the vet is treating it very aggressively and we'll know more next week how things look.
i am so angry about this!!!!!!!!!
oh poor Connie!!! that is terrible...
hope she is feeling better ASAP!!!!
